BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backlight assembly and a display device with the same are provided to reduce the brightness difference between a first area in which a lamp is located and a second area corresponding to space between two adjacent lamps, thereby improving the brightness uniformity of light emitted from a backlight assembly. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly and a display device with the same include a lamp(110), a diffusing substrate(120), a first diffusion pattern(151), and a second diffusion pattern(152). The lamp is arranged at predetermined intervals to generate light. The diffusing substrate is included on multiple lamps to diffuse light provided from the multiple lamps. The first diffusion pattern is provided with a first density in a first area and provided with a second density lower than the first density in a second area between lamps. The second diffusion pattern is provided with a third density in the first area and provided with a fourth density lower than the third density in the second area.
