PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make variable the length of an intake passage of an intake pipe that takes air into an internal combustion engine as a source of drive for sea- vessel propelling, so as to make it possible to freely select various driving states of the internal combustion engine, while the intake device is prevented from being made large in size. SOLUTION: The intake device 14 is equipped with an intake pipe 34 extending from an internal combustion engine 11 that is a source of drive for propelling a sea-vessel 3. It is so arranged that the air 12 at the outside atmosphere side will be taken into the internal combustion engine 11 through an intake passage 35 in the intake pipe 34. An intermediate portion 42 between an upper stream portion 40 and a downstream portion 41 of the intake pipe 34 is separated from the foregoing upper and downstream portions 40 and 41. The foregoing intermediate portion 42 is pivotally supported, at the member of the standstill side of a sea-vessel 1, capable of freely traveling in rotation between A and B. It is so arranged that an upper stream end opening part 41a at the intake passage 35 of the foregoing downstream portion 41 is caused to be opened to the atmosphere side by the forward movement in rotation of the foregoing intermediate portion 42. |
