摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling method capable of suppressing the vibration of a rolled stock between roll stands in a finish hot-rolling process in a sizing mill for bar steel such as a wire rod and a steel bar, thereby reducing surface defects and enhancing the dimensional accuracy over the entire length of a rolled stock. <P>SOLUTION: In the sizing mill which is installed on the side of the latter stage of the finish rolling mill for bar steel such as the wire rod and the steel bar and has at least two roll stands, the vibration of the rolled stock between the roll stands (F-1) and (F) is suppressed by keeping the direction of force along the rolling direction which acts on the first roll stand (F-1) this side of the final roll stand (F) constant during rolling one rolled stock by adjusting the roll gap of this roll stand (F-1) and/or the roll gap of the roll stand on the upstream side of that roll stand (F-1) or by controlling the tension which acts on the rolled stock on the inlet side of that roll stand (F-1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
