Device and method for backwashing filter membrane modules

The device has a module rack, in which multiple module series (1a to 1d) are parallely arranged. An inlet sided control valve (11b) of a supply or drain line (7b) of a module series supplying raw water is closed in the back-wash mode. The associated outlet sided control valve (11a) of another supply or drain line of the module series is opened. The remaining inlet sided control valves are opened in the supply line of the remaining module series, for back-washing of one of the module series of the module rack with the filtrate generated from other module series. An independent claim is included for a method for back-washing of filter membrane modules.
