摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reversible thermochromic water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen that permanently develops fixation not to release a holograph by a scrape with a friction body and a thermochromic function when the color of a holograph formed on a writing face is changed by frictional heat of the friction body and a ballpoint pen using the same. SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition comprises reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment which contains a reversible thermochromic composition composed of (a) an electron donative coloring organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound and (c) a reaction medium for determining the occurrence temperature of the color reaction both of the compounds and has 0.5-5μm average particle diameter, water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a shear-reducing viscosity imparting agent and an emulsion of a resin having <1 specific gravity.
