A ROTATABLE CRANE HOOKBLOCK POWERED BY A LIFTING CABLE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A rotating hook block which is rotated by operating a lifting cable and a control method thereof are provided to rotate the hook in horizontal direction using torque of a pulley. CONSTITUTION: A rotating hook block comprises a pulley(10), a power generator(30), a hook(50) and connection units(70,70'). The pulley is rotated by up and down motion of a lifting cable(8). The power generator generates the electricity using the torque of pulley. The hook horizontally rotates and is mounted on the lower part of the pulley. The connection unit transfers the torque of the pulley to the hook using electricity from the power generator. The connection device is operated with an actuator moving forward and back.
