PURPOSE: A bottom-up method for supporting a bookend of a prefabricated bookshelf is provided to prevent a book from falling regardless of a weight of the book and to completely protect a soft book without a deformation and damage. CONSTITUTION: A bottom-up method for supporting a bookend of a prefabricated bookshelf supports books from the lower portion of the book to the top direction by welding a bookend mounting support stand(11) on the lower portion of the shelf and mounting the bookend(12) on a bookend support groove(14) through a groove(13) cut in a shelf(10) after longitudinally cutting two groove in the shelf. The books are supported from the lower portion to the top direction using the same method after longitudinally cutting one groove in the shelf into a constant width.
