<p>The method involves providing a workpiece (8) in a pressing chamber (1) of a laminating press. An upper chamber half (2) and a lower chamber half (3) are moved relative to each other for opening and closing the pressing chamber. Single or multi part sealing (5) is arranged between the upper and lower chamber halves. A separating foil (10) is provided in the pressing chamber of the press. The pressing chamber is closed. A volume of the chamber surrounding the chamber and provided below a membrane (9) is evacuated. The separating foil is removed before closing the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a laminating press for laminating a workpiece.</p> |
