The appliance has a working accessory (2) integrated to a motorized base (1). A truncated rotating work tool (6) is engaged with a driver unit (8), when the work tool is placed in a housing (4) defined by an accessory case (3) of the working accessory. The driver unit is mounted in the housing along a rotation axis (14). The tool is supported in a lower part of the housing against a retaining stop (43). The driver unit forms a hook oriented towards the front with respect to a rotation direction of the driver unit. The tool has a cutting unit (15) made of plastic material.
