PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for a dishwasher, the composition having favorable cleaning power on protein stains, oil stains or the like and preventing stains of pigments such as tea stains caused by repeated use. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition for a dishwasher contains a polymer compound (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 100,000 and a structural unit derived from a cationic monomer, and a metal salt of an alkenyl succinic acid (B).
