<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying deice for suppressing the center precedence of a sheet, and to provide an image forming device equipped therewith. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sheet carrying device 20 comprises a thrusting member 31 and a first guide member 24 provided on the upstream side of a carrying belt 9 which carries a sheet 100, in the carrying direction of the sheet 100. The thrusting member 31 gives greater resistance to the sheet 100 to be guided toward the carrying belt 9 by a first guide face 24A of the first guide member 24, at its cross-direction center region 100A than at either cross-direction end 100B. Thus, there is no case that the sheet 100 is carried earlier at its center region 100A than at either end 100B, therefore suppressing the center precedence of the sheet 100.
