<p>The method involves providing radio frequency identification (RFID)-controllers (8a, 8b) for generating a detection zone that covers access to a storage location (4). Slave-tags (12) are affixed on an object (2), which is stored in the location, where master-tags (14) and the slave-tags are detected by the controllers. The master-tags are spatially removed from the zone, and a securing operation is triggered by the controllers, based on determination that the slave tags are removed from zone and the master-tags are not present in the zone. The tags are designed as passive transponders. An independent claim is also included for a system for securing an object against unauthorized removal from a storage location, comprising a master tag.</p> |
