<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain configuration for executing prevention of unauthorized use of download content from a server or copy content from media, without fail. <P>SOLUTION: In the configuration for storing the download content from the server or the copy content from the media into a local storage part, key data with high confidentiality is safely stored into memories other than the local storage part. According to this configuration, even when, for example, stored data of the local storage part is copied and leaked to the outside, the unauthorized use of the content is prevented by preventing leak of memory stored data. In addition, ID information, etc. unique to a device, which is stored in the memory is transmitted to the server, server signature data is received, and stored in the local storage part.
