<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beak-like high frequency treating instrument which achieves a smooth high frequency treatment without separation of beak-like electrodes from the affected part even when the positional relationship between the distal end of the endoscope and the human body tissues varies suddenly a great deal amid the high frequency treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A wire loop 7 which is electrically insulated from a pair of the beak-like electrodes 3 and spreads from the neighborhood of the tip of a sheath 1 surrounding the front space as opposed to a pair of the beak-like electrodes 3 is so arranged as to be expansible or contractable by the operation from the proximal end side of the sheath 1 independently of the operation of opening or closing a pair of the beak-like electrodes 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
