<p>A sulfo-aluminous clinker contains: <??>(a) more than 55 % by wt of calcium sulfo-aluminate phase (C4A3S'); <??>(b) more than 10 % by wt of belite phase (C2S); <??>(c) less than 10 % by wt of anhydrite (CS'); <??>(d) containing practically no ferrite phase, nor any gehlenite phase (C2AS) nor any free lime. <??>Where C represents CaO, A represents Al2O3, S represents Si2O2, S' represents SO3 <??>Independent claims are also included for: <??>(a) a method for the preparation of this clinker; <??>(b) utilization of this clinker for the preparation of a binder by mixing it with calcium oxide and/or calcium sulfate source material and Portland cement; <??>(c) a binder containing this clinker and calcium sulfate or calcium sulfate and Portland cement.</p> |
