PURPOSE: A computer system and a method for controlling a memory module are provided to use a memory module with the fastest speed among memory modules first. CONSTITUTION: The first and second memory modules(31,32) store data. A memory controller(3) controls the first and second memory modules. The memory controller first uses a memory module with the fastest speed between the first and second memory modules. An I/O unit outputs data to a user. The I/O unit receives input from the user.
