PURPOSE: A di-(4-vinylpyridine) metal phthalocyanine compound is provided to ensure excellent surface resistance and UV protection effects and to manufacture film for blocking UV. CONSTITUTION: A di-(4-vinylpyridine) metal phthalocyanine compound has a structure of chemical formula 2. A composition for anti-static contains the di-(4-vinylpyridine) metal phthalocyanine compound. A composition absorbing UV contains the di-(4-vinylpyridine) metal phthalocyanine compound. A method for preparing the di-(4-vinylpyridine) metal phthalocyanine compound comprises: a step of filling mixture power of metal phthalocyanine and 4-vinylpyridine with nitrogen and stirring; and a step of washing and drying the reactant and purifying.
