BONE GRAFTING MATERIAL COATED WITH BMP

PURPOSE: A bone grafting material coated with bmp extracted from an animal bone is provided to improve the bone formation promoting function of the bone grafting material. CONSTITUTION: A bone grafting material comprises a bone grafting material main body originating from an animal bone and a bone morphogentic protein(BMP) layer extracted from the animal bone to form the surface of the bone grafting material main body. The calcium content of the bone graft material main body is over 8%. The bone grafting material main body has an average diameter under 1 micrometer. The BMP layer is extracted from the powdered animal bone by a proteinase inhibitor or a protein extracting reagent. The BMP layer is formed to the surface of the bone grafting material main body through a dialysis method. The animal bone is selected from a group consisting of a bovine bone, a horse bone, or a pig bone.
