The invention relates to a diagnostic unit for monitoring the movement of an actuator element that is provided with a permanent magnet (22) and movable along a movement path (13). At least two magnetic field-sensitive sensors (20, 21) are disposed at a fixed distance from one another along the movement path (13). Time recording devices (26) serve to record the transit time of the actuator element from one sensor (20) to the other (21). Comparison means (28) compare the currently measured transit time to a target transit time stored in a memory device (27). An indicator unit (30) indicates when a predetermined or predeterminable deviation from the target transit time has been exceeded. In this manner, it is possible for process sequences to be monitored in a simple manner with regard to possible changes and defects. |
