Ultrasound testing head

The ultrasound testing head (1) comprises an ultrasound testing head surface which is bordered by an edge. A testing head holder (5) is arranged around the ultrasound testing head, where the testing head holder projects over the ultrasound testing head surface. The testing head holder has a contact edge (7) which projects over the edge, such that the contact edge lies in a plane. A part of the testing head holder comprises a flexible material that is rubber and formed as a rubber lip (16).
