PURPOSE: A gasket for a swash plate compressor is provided to prevent high temperature heat from the compressor from being transferred to the elastic layer of the gasket by forming a Teflon layer on the elastic layer. CONSTITUTION: A gasket for a swash plate compressor is installed on one side of a valve plate to prevent a leakage. The valve plate is installed between a cylinder block and a front head or between the cylinder block and a rear head. An elastic layer(105) is formed on the surface of a body(101) of the gasket. A Teflon layer(108) is formed on at least one side of the elastic layer or at least one side of the elastic layer and the valve plate. A silicone adhesive is provided between the Teflon layer and the elastic layer.
