PURPOSE: A current lead is provided to obtain uniform current density by radially arranging a Rutherford cable. CONSTITUTION: One side of the current lead is connected to an external power supply device. The other side of the current lead is connected to the superconductive electric field of the superconductive power device. The current lead includes an insulator(10) and a plurality of rutherford cable(20). The insulator has a circular or polygonal pole shape. A plurality of receiving grooves is radially formed on the center of the insulator. The plurality of receiving grooves are radially formed on the center of the insulator. The plurality of Rutherford cables is inserted into the plurality of receiving grooves. Each Rutherford cable is comprised of a plurality of conductive lines. The insulation coating surrounds each line.
