PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve image quality while implementing high speed operation by reducing erroneous discharge due to the loss of wall charge. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display apparatus includes a driving signal and a first sustain period. The driving signal comprises a first scan interval, a second scan interval, and a first sustain interval between the first and the second scan interval. The first sustains interval is comprised of a first period supplying a first voltage to a sustain electrode, a second period supplying a second voltage to a scan electrode, and a third period maintaining the second voltage.
