PURPOSE: A vent opening/closing device and a microwave oven with the same are provided to prevent contaminant from flowing in a vent by preventing the vent from being exposed out by covering the vent with a vent cover. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven with a vent opening/closing device comprises a vent frame(100), a vent cover(200), a drive motor, a driving force transmission member and a drive switch. The vent frame has a vent in which the air moves to inside and outside of the microwave oven. The vent cover opens and closes the vent. The drive motor offers the driving force for the rectilinear movement of the vent cover for opening and closing of the vent. The driving force transmission member transfers the driving force of the drive motor to the vent cover. According to opening and closing the drive switch of the vent cover, the drive motor is driven or stopped.
