PURPOSE: A file filtering method using a cyclic redundancy check pattern in a file sharing service and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform file filtering after simply extracting CRC of an original file from a header of a compressed file, thereby eliminating decompression requirement of the compressed file. CONSTITUTION: If a file is uploaded in a shared storage, a filtering unit(110) determines whether the uploaded file is a filtering target. The uploaded file is the filtering target, a database(120) stores a cyclic redundancy check pattern of the uploaded file. The filtering unit determines whether the uploaded file is the filtering target based on the stored cyclic redundancy check pattern. |
