PURPOSE: A power supply device for a plasma display is provided to prevent damage to a printed circuit board and discoloration by suppressing overheat which is generated when overcurrent is flowed. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display power supply unit includes a voltage sensor portion(200), and a controller(110). The voltage sensor portion comprises switching elements(Qa, Qb) which are turn on and generate an over voltage signal when a voltage of a secondary auxiliary winding is over a predetermined voltage. If the controller receive the over voltage signal, it controls a primary switch element to reduce the output of a secondary voltage of a transformer. |
