PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for manufacturing a fastening or a fastener equipped with a radial shape contour, screw, or threaded bolt are provided to prevent the settling of a material during a recess press process between screw stocks of a cracking mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a fastening or a fastener comprises the following steps: forming a shank type compartment in the inside of a pre-manufactured blank at a initial pressing level; inserting the blank into the inside of a multi-parted cracking mold(4); forming screw stocks at an opened location; compressing radial shape contours to the shank type compartment of the blank; inserting a recess(13) among the screw stocks in a cracking mold during the compressing process.
