FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing light-emitting devices, for example indicating lights and traffic lights. The luminescent nanostructure composite material is based on 53.1-99.0 wt % -Al2O3 matrix with particle size from 200 to 2000 nm, containing dispersed nanocrystalline ceramic phases: a first nanostructure component containing Si in amount of 0.9-39.9 wt % and a second nanostructure component in form of magnesium-aluminate MgAl2O4 in amount of 0.1-7 wt %. The first nanostructure component is 3Al2O3*2SiO2, Al2O3*SiO2 or a combination of the said aluminium silicates in any volume ratio.
