FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mining industry, namely to devices for removal of jackbit from rod. Device includes casing interacting with butt-end of jackbit and provided with longitudinal groove for rod and coaxial holes on its side walls for location of pivot installed with possibility of interaction with rod and provided with handle for its rotational motion. Special feature of device is case designed with additional groove and holes in which additional pivot with handle is fixed located symmetrically to main pivot with handle with respect to longitudinal axis of casing. At that pivots are designed as eccentric workpiece which outer surface is reinforced by material with high coefficient of friction. ^ EFFECT: enhancement of device operating efficiency and simplification of its manufacturing technique. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
