The present invention relates to rotating fire furnace in which at least one of the inner partitions is formed of a plurality of refractory material bricks including at least one brick (15a) of the first type and at least one brick (15b) of the second type placed above or beneath a brick (15c) of the third type and separated from each other by some space (13, 14) of width J, wherein the brick (15a) of the first type comprises at least one recess (158d, 158'd) on its assembling surface opposite the brick (15c) of the third type, the brick (15c) of the third type comprises at least one protuberance (155d, 155'd) on its assembling surface opposite the brick (15a) of the first type, and the protuberance being engaged in the recess, the dimension E of said recess (158d) in the longitudinal direction of the partition is greater than the dimension B of said first protuberance (155d) in the same direction, and said recess (158d) is spaced apart by a specific distance (Se) from the end surface (152) adjacent said space (13, 14). The invention enables some bricks to be slid on one another, while the cohesion and the strength of the partition are maintained, during the movements caused by expansion and contraction of the bricks. |
