<p>A feed roll for a harvester head, comprising a fastening hub 1, a roll part 2 having a primarily circular cross section and surrounding the fastening hub, holding elements 3 on the outer surface of the roll part to provide the necessary hold between the outer surface of the roll part 2 and the tree trunk touching the same, a cogging 4 formed on at the least one rim of the roll part 2 to couple two adjacent feed rolls mechanically to each other, characterized in that further the cogging 4 is primarily at the level of the outer surface of the roll part 2, wherein the distance of the outer surface of the cogging from the rotation axis of the feed roll is primarily equal to the distance of the outer surface of the roll part from the rotation axis of the feed roll.</p> |
