PURPOSE: An electronic device is provided to ensure high mobility, current on/off ratio, and threshold voltage by employing a semiconducting layer including a semiconducting polymer. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device comprises a semiconducting layer selected from the group consisting of formulas (I) and (II), wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, and heteroaryl; X and Y are independently a conjugated divalent moiety; a and b are independently integers from 0 to about 10; and n is an integer from 2 to about 5,000.
