PURPOSE: A method for introducing gene using allogenic umbilical cord blood serum or plasma is provided to enhance gene induction efficiency to vector target cells and use in gene therapy. CONSTITUTION: A target cell is introduced by infecting with retrovirus vector under the presence of allogenic umbilical cord blood serum or plasma. The target cell is hematopoietic cell or the CD34 positive cell. The retrovirus vector contains a foreign gene.
