PURPOSE: A broadcast processing apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to perform search and reservation function for the broadcasting programs of the future. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast processing unit comprises the tuning portion(10), the signal processing unit(20), the display unit(30), the speaker(40), the storage(50), the menu formation unit(60), the user input portion(70) and the controller(80). The signal processing unit processes the broadcast signal. The controller designates the broadcasting program. The reservation capability is instituted in the broadcasting program. If the data corresponding to the broadcasting program exists in EPG(Electronic Program Guide) data of the broadcast signal, the controller performs the reservation capability. |
