The boot has a bottom element i.e. bottom armature (14), fixed to a roof of a motor vehicle i.e. car, and formed of rigid rods made of metal or plastic material. An inflatable lower armature (10) and an inflatable upper armature (12) are fixed to lower and upper parts (16-1, 16-2) of a dust cover using attachments (26) e.g. velcro(RTM: hook and loop fasteners), respectively, where the lower and the upper armatures are in the form of cavity and cover, respectively. Each of the lower and upper armatures is constituted of an inflatable element for being rigidified, after inflation.
