Disclosed is a shaving cartridge comprising: a housing having a front edge and a rear edge; one or more shaving blades between the front edge and the rear edge; a shaving aid holder; and at least one shaving aid portion mounted on the shaving aid holder, characterized in that the shaving aid portion comprises from about 0.1% to about 10 wt % polyoxyethylene and a soap base. Also disclosed is a razor component containing said shaving cartridge.
