PURPOSE: A display device is provided to reduce the electric energy consumed in a power saving action state by checking the existence of the input signal. CONSTITUTION: A signal receiving part(100) receives the input signal from outside. The input signal comprises the clock signal. The differentiator(120) differentiates the clock signal. The clock signal is branched in the clock signal input line of the signal receiving part. The controller(130) senses the output signal of differentiator. The differentiator is connected to the set port. It is based on in the sensing signal according to the output signal of differentiator. The controller decides the cancel release of the power saving mode.
