The device (8) has an exhaust gas recirculation circuit (C) recirculating exhaust gas in an inlet of an internal combustion oil engine (1) i.e. diesel engine, of a motor vehicle. An exhaust gas recirculation valve (6) regulates flow of the exhaust gas in the recirculation circuit. An opening control unit (7) controls opening of the valve using information issued from the engine, along opening control laws i.e. opening laws, varied based on a crankshaft angle of the engine during a working cycle of a cylinder of the engine. An independent claim is also included for a method for recirculating exhaust gas in an inlet of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. |
