PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a sensor for detecting the pressure of a DPF muffler in a work machine such as a hydraulic shovel irrespective of the height of the work machine. SOLUTION: This sensor mounting structure of a work machine includes the DPF muffler 3 with a built-in filter (DPF) and a differential pressure sensor 7 communicating with the DPF muffler through a hose S and detecting the pressure on the upstream side of the DPF muffler. The intermediate part of the hose S sags downward, and the lower end thereof is positioned at least further on the lower side than the differential pressure sensor 7 in the vertical direction. To secure a passage for a gas by storing condensed water, a sagged hose S3 and a hermetic tank 8 are provided to the bottom end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
