<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a farm implement, which prevents the release of a lock device for locking the movement of a variable member for moving a working portion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The safety device of the farm implement includes: an engaging member 71 which is installed between a front frame 13 and a link mechanism (parallel link) 40 comprising link members 41, 42, 43 and a rear frame 45, and whose one end engages with either of the link mechanism 40 or the front frame 13; and a catching member 76 which is connected to the other of the link mechanism 40 or the front frame 13 and can catch a portion 71c to be caught, formed in the other end of the engaging member 71. The catching member 76 can catch the portion 71c to be caught of the engaging member 71 in the direction for releasing the engagement of one end, when the working portion 50 has a rearward movement work posture.
