The control method involves determining a hollow organ (1) in a volume data. A distribution line (2) of the hollow organ is determined, and distribution level is discharged on the basis of the distribution line. The volume image is generated from the volume data, in which the distribution line lies in parallel to the image plane. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a control module for controlling video display device for an output of a volume image of an object-tissue area; and (2) a computer program product loaded directly in a memory of a programmable image processing device.
