<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storage type water heater suppressing lowering of temperature of high temperature water within a hot water storage tank even when intermediate temperature water flows into the hot water storage tank at start of boiling up operation. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater is provided with: the hot water storage tank 2 having an inner side divided into an intermediate temperature water storage part 36 and a hot water storage part 35 communicated with each other at the lower side; a heat pump unit 3 having one end connected to the hot water storage tank 2 by a pipe and heating hot water flowing in from the hot water storage tank 2; a boiling-up return selector valve 51 connected to the other end of the heat pump unit 3, the intermediate temperature water storage part 36 and the hot water storage part 35 by a pipe, switchable so that the hot water heated by the heat pump unit 3 flows into the intermediate temperature water storage part 36 or the hot water storage part 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
