<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus which timely and preferably outputs proper guidance message according to a mounted state of an IC card or whether a gate at a toll road or interchange is responding to the ETC. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus includes: a map information acquisition part 13 for acquiring the map information and road information; a position detection part 12 for detecting the current location; a card mounted state detection part 25 for detecting whether an IC card 23 stored with automatic toll collection information is mounted; a control part 10 for creating a guidance message based on the four kinds combinations determined by the presence of the ETC corresponding to entrance gate or toll gate defined by lane information included in the map information or road information, and determined by whether the vehicle has an IC card, when the vehicle is determined as approaching before a predetermined distance from the entrance gate or toll gate based on the map information and road information within a predetermined range from detected current location; and an output part 14 for output of the created guidance message in voice or on a display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
