PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable cleaning composition which has a satisfactory foamability and exhibits sufficient cleaning effect owing to the power of bubbles without using a large quantity of water when cleaning a drum-type washing machine, a dish washer and further a bath vessel. SOLUTION: The foamable cleaning composition includes: a cleaning composition of 20 to 80 wt.% composed of an oxide agent such as a hydrogen persulfate, percarbonate or perborate; a carbon dioxide gas generation component of 80 to 20 wt.% comprising acid such as organic acid and alkali such as carbonate; and a surfactant.
