摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control device capable of exerting a stable energy-absorbing capacity on a horizontal force acting on a building by an earthquake. SOLUTION: In this seismic control device 10, a damper member 12, which is made of a plurality of shape steels 16a capable of flexural yielding, is arranged between beams 44 in a plane which is surrounded by the columns and beams 44 of a building; upper and lower ends of the wide shape steel members 16a are each sandwiched between both sides in the plane by means of an L-shaped steel 26a which is mounted on the beam 44; and a low-friction material for reducing a frictional force between both the members is interposed between the lower ends of the H shape steels 16a and the L-shaped steel 26a. Thus, the lower ends of the H shape steels 16a can slide in the axial direction and out-of-plane direction of the H shape steels 16a. A lower end of the damper member 12 is restrained in a horizontal direction in the plane, and is not restrained in the axial direction and out-of-plane direction thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
