PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the nearly maximum transmission diversity gain even in a large variation of a frequency response of a subcarrier to which SFBC-coded data are assigned, and to obtain a larger diversity gain even in a system using an STBC. SOLUTION: A radio receiver receives a transmission signal that is space-coded and is assigned to a different subcarrier for transmitting as a multicarrier signal with a plurality of antennas. The radio receiver includes: a space-decoding section 27 for space-decoding the transmission signal that has been space-coded; a demodulation section 29 for demodulating the space-coded transmission signal; and an error correction coding section 30 for performing error correction decoding to the demodulated transmission signal. An interference component, which is generated by decoding the transmission signal that has been space-coded at a transmission side by the space-decoding section 27, is removed repeatedly.
