<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve heat dissipation characteristics of a stator coil end, relating to a rotary electric machine and a rotary electric machine cooling system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A motor which is the rotary electric machine includes a stator 22a and a rotor. The stator 22a includes a stator core 12 and a resin mold coil end 24a provided on both sides in axial direction. A cylindrical protrusion 54 which projects in an axial direction is provided at a plurality of points on the side surface, in axial direction, of the resin mold coil end 24a.
