AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier circuit for suitably controlling both of power supply modulation characteristics and distortion compensation characteristics, and to provide a wireless communication apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The amplifier circuit includes: an amplifier 22; a power supply modulation part 20 for applying a power supply modulation voltage to the amplifier 22; a predistorter 30 for compensating the distortion of the amplifier 22; a first estimation part 31 for estimating a first amplifier model 31a indicating the characteristics of the amplifier 22 between input and output signals; and a second estimation part 33 for estimating a second amplifier model 33a indicating the characteristics of the amplifier 22 between the power supply modulation voltage and the output signal. The predistorter 30 compensates the distortion of the amplifier 22 on the basis of the first amplifier model 31a, and the power supply modulation part 20 controls the power supply modulation voltage on the basis of the second amplifier model 33a.
