<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch between the accumulation and exertion of an assisting force of a driving mechanism by making motion of a movable locking portion of a slider secure accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slider 5 is connected to the driving mechanism 4 which accumulates the assisting force during sliding motion in one direction of an opening/closing object and which exerts the assisting force during the sliding motion in the other direction. The slider 5 is provided with the movable locking portion 52 which is locked to a locking groove 115 provided in the casing 1, so as to be displaced and unlocked from a retainer member 6. The movable locking portion 52 of the slider 5 makes the assisting force accumulated in the driving mechanism 4 when it is locked to the retainer member 6 and moved to the locking groove 115 of the casing 1 from an original position, makes the driving mechanism 4 exert the assisting force when it is locked to the retainer member 6 and moved to the original position from the locking groove 115 of the casing 1, and maintains the assisting force accumulated in the driving mechanism 4 in the state of being locked to the locking groove 115 of the casing 1 unlocked from the retainer member 6.
