<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Tatami base cutting device in which an inclined angle of the cutting blade is freely adjusted and the cutting blade is supported stably after an adjustment of the inclined angle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the Tatami base cutting device, a support part 2 comprises: a support body 21 freely movable along a rail; and an inclined body 22 equipped with a rotary blade 3: wherein the support body 21 has arc-shaped long holes 212, 213, with an inclined virtual axis P as a center, which is set on the vertical inclined face perpendicular to the rail 12 at the height as much the penetration depth into the Tatami base 4 from the blade edge position of the bottom end of the rotary blade 3 directed to the Tatami base. Each of restraint projections 221 of the inclined body 22 is engaged each of the arc-shaped long hole 212, 213, and thereby the inclined body 22 is supported by the support body 21. The posture of the inclined body 22 is changed relative to the support body 21 by changing the engaging position of each of the restraint projections 221 with each of the arc-shaped long holes 212, 213, and thereby the inclination of the rotary blade 3 of the inclined body 22 is changed.
